The Wizard of Oz follows Dorothy in Oz, but what happened before Dorothy? Enter Elphaba and Glinda. One’s a green-skinned witch who learns about her powers, and the other’s a pink-wearing university queen bee.
The pair become unexpected best friends, but when Elphaba discovers a threat to the citizens of Oz, she makes it her mission to protect others, no matter what the cost. Wicked asks what it means to be yourself, even when you may feel like the only person in the world.
