Experienced Administration Assistant

Cassidy Travel Ireland’s multi-award-winning Travel Agency holding several incredible awards including the most recent ITAA Travel Agency of the year is seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to join our Classic Resorts team.

We are looking for an experienced administrator that will support our sales teams in all aspects of a holiday booking. 

This successful candidate will be responsible for the administration for the entire life cycle of a booking – and each one is different! 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the bookings made by the sales team
  • Making holiday component bookings where required such as transfers, room reservations, travel insurance
  • Assist Clients any with pre-travel related queries
  • Preparing and sending Travel Documents to Clients
  • Update bookings in our IT Systems
  • Keep in regular contact with suppliers regarding tickets/confirmation
  • Reconciliation of daily payments and credit card processing
  • Liaising with the finance team regarding supplier invoice payments
  • Reception duties for sales staff, taking messages and passing calls
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post
  • Support the sales team in any ad hoc admin duties required

Qualification, Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an administration role
  • Travel industry experience desirable  
  • Fluent English speaker with excellent written skills
  • GDS experience (Amadeus)
  • Strong attention to detail skills

Behavioural Competencies

  • Ability to act on own initiative and to take ownership of tasks assigned
  • Strong structured approach and methodology
  • Able to multi-task and project manage
  • Clear and concise communication skills

Role: Full Time 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Graphic Designer

We are currently recruiting for a full time in-house Graphic Designer to join our team in our Headquarters based in Dublin 1. The successful candidate will deliver design content related projects for our 9 retail stores and full range of travel brands. This role provides a great opportunity for the right applicant to work in a fast paced and rewarding environment in an industry that never stands still.

What we need:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in both digital and print design
  • Industry standard experience - Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop/Illustrator & InDesign
  • Content Management Systems experience
  • Advanced skills in the Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator & After Effects is a must
  • Proven experience in brochures, OOH signage, digital assets, infographics, presentations, media print ads, and banner ads
  • Experience in packaging and merchandise design such as clothing, stationary, brochure racks
  • Experience in creating newsletters to brand specific databases
  • Experience in brand identity and development
  • Video editing experience is desirable
  • You will collaborate with our marketing and web team to promote current offers and marketing campaigns
  • Other ad hoc design related tasks will also be required on occasion

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Degree Qualified in Graphic Design & Visual Communications or related field
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Strong Visual Portfolio must be submitted for review at interview stage via Web or PDF format

  • Ability to work to strict and tight deadlines with the ability to shift priorities from project to project
  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to act on own initiative and to take ownership of tasks assigned
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

As a Golf Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to golf enthusiasts who are looking to book international golf trips. This includes creating tailored travel itineraries, booking accommodations, securing golf course reservations, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable travel experience for all clients. This role also involves an element of administration work, such as preparing and delivering travel packs to clients and managing payments and invoices.

What we need

  • An strong passion for all things Golf
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced sales role working to targets
  • Travel industry experience is desirable
  • Proficient in excel and ability to pick up on new IT systems
  • An excellent team player with extraordinary attention to detail and organisational skills
