A Culinary Adventure!

A Culinary Adventure!

Holidays to Chongqing are a great way to experience a bustling city that’s the economic powerhouse of the historic Yangzi region. Chongqing has fewer star attractions than some other Chinese cities but its wonderful food scene makes up for it as does the stunning surrounds of the Jialing and Yangzi rivers.

Explore Chongqing

One of your first stops should be at the Hongya Cave, as it is where you will experience the culture and history of this beautiful city. While China is known most for its Giant pandas, the Chongqing Zoo will have you visiting with more than two hundred different species, including rare animals.
Jiefangbei Square is a newer square that holds the Central Business District of this city. There are thousands of businesses there and you could spend days wandering through the stores, dining at the restaurants, and even visiting the nightclubs and theatres.
A few other things to do and see in Chongqing include the Ghost City of Fengdu, the Wansheng Heishan Valley, the Jindao Canyon Scenic Area, and the Jinyun Mountain Natural Reserve. You must try Chongqing’s version of the Hot Pot for its peppery Sichuan spices!
