Our holiday expert Sandra took a trip of her own to Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa, to experience the luxury for herself. We just had to share.

I’ve stayed in numerous Secrets properties in the Caribbean and Mexico before. So when I got the opportunity to visit Secrets Lanzarote, I was excited to see how their European hotels would measure up to that high standard!

And I’m happy to say that it did.

First impressions

First of all, unlike so many hotels in Europe that claim to offer All Inclusive and generally only have meals in the buffet, Secrets Lanzarote also gives you options of eating in their fantastic restaurants when you go All Inclusive.

The facilities

All of the facilities in Secrets Lanzarote are excellent. I loved the spa, and the 4 climatised pools. One of these pools is part of the Preferred Club section which gives you that ultimate luxury feeling of exclusivity – the Preferred Club also has its own dedicated restaurant.

The rooms

Secrets Lanzarote has a wide range of styles of rooms to suit all holidaymakers. Every room is luxuriously-appointed with up to date technology, with stunning views all around the hotel. I was really impressed by the Preferred Club swim-up rooms – they’re fantastic. You just walk out onto your terrace and straight into the pool. Bliss!

Dining

The standard of foods and drinks, international drinks served under the All Inclusive Ultimate was excellent. I tried to Barefoot Grill first with had a range of choices to suit all, as did the delicious buffet. There’s a wide range of delicious options throughout the resort, so all guests are sure to be satisfied!​
