Las Vegas is a dream destination at the top of so many people’s bucket list. See deals our holidays to Las Vegas on our website!

An Unforgettable Trip to Sin City!

One of our expert travel advisors, Nicole, got the exciting opportunity to visit Las Vegas as part of a special agents’ trip. She got to experience the glitz and glam for herself and we thought we’d share!

We flew out from Dublin to Las Vegas via JFK with Delta and to our pleasant surprise we were upgraded to Business Class on our first leg, which was a lovely treat!

It was my first time ever in business class so I was completely blown away!

Day 1 – Getting there & Arriving at the Hotel

On the trip over, Nicole flew with Delta Airlines

We waited to board our flight in 51st & the green lounge which I think is well worth €35per person. They have some hot food options in a little buffet area, there were some cereals & pastries and of course the bar. The staff were really nice. It’s a lovely start to your holiday.

The service on board delta business class was really nice, from your drinks to your meals the cabin crew can’t do enough for you.

For starter they brought us out a mozzarella salad starter, with a soup & chicken with a couscous side & raspberry cheesecake and ice cream for dessert. The free onboard Wi-Fi which was nice, too.

While waiting for our connecting flight in JFK we waited in the sky lounge again it was really nice with a good selection of food.

Arriving into Vegas we stayed in the PARK MGM which was a gorgeous hotel I really liked it. We all had our own rooms which were a really good size, nice big bathroom and the bed was so comfortable! Can’t fault it., but the pool areas were quite small.

After dropping our bags into the room we headed straight back out to experience the FLY LINQ zip line, it was $25 per person.

Las Vegas

Day 2

We all met at 7am for our 40 min transfer to the Flightlinez Bootleg Canyon – this was amazing!

The price was roughly $85per person that included 4 ziplines. The crew bringing us around were great, it was just such a laugh! The views were stunning after I opened my eyes!

After we went to the Luxor for a site inspection & lunch. The Luxor was a really  nice property. The rooms were a good size nice & clean.  Great location I will definitely continue to sell this property.

We then went on to view the Grand MGM. A really nice hotel it was huge!!! Again rooms were nice and spacious and modern. Pool area & Lazy river were fabulous! Also they have the wet republic there which makes it that bit better. Location was perfect. We were shown a fabulous penthouse over there with a balcony, it was unbelievable.

The New York New York hotel again was brilliant such a beautiful hotel and their lead in rooms were amazing. My mam had stayed here and she loved it too!

The Venetian was a beautiful hotel, you really forget where you are when you’re walking through and you see the gondolas and the ceiling is the blue sky with white fluffy clouds it’s just stunning! Rooms in the Venetian were very grand a little bit old fashioned decor wise the Palazzo rooms were that bit more modernised. Stunning hotel!

We had dinner in Buddy V’s – It was amazing from the food to the cocktails it was just fabulous would defiantly recommend having a meal in there

After this we had the helicopter ride at night. Looking over the strip and all the lights were brilliant

You get to have some champagne while you are waiting – lasts about 12minutes

*Best view depends on what side of the helicopter you sit on I was on the right and it wasn’t great view wise because the pilot went up and down on the left side of the strip.

Las Vegas

Day 3

We paid visits to more key Las Vegas hotels for a site inspection. Today we visited 3 – the Cosmopolitan, the Golden Nugget and The Palms Hotel.

The Cosmopolitan was stunning. The rooms were so nice and selected rooms have the terrace which is a really nice as not many hotels offer balconies/terraces. We had breakfast here too, they had a great buffet selection & table service for drinks.

The Golden Nugget was honestly very tired looking. It looked like it needed a freshen up. They are due for a refurb at the end of this year so I think that will help big time.

The Palms Hotel was amazing! Couldn’t fault one thing about it, everything about it was stunning. We had a VIP dinner in a private section of the restaurant which was absolutely amazing! Food & drinks here were my favourite by far!

We went from the Palms to the Mirage to catch the Cirque du Soleil love show. Which was good I had seen them before on the MSC Meravigilia they are quite good.

Day 4 – Going Home!

Today we went to visit Planet Hollywood, Paris & Ballys.

Planet Hollywood location is ideal which definitely works in its favour but the food wasn’t great in the buffet but I think it was hard to follow after the cosmo the previous morning!

The rooms in Planet Hollywood, Paris & Ballys were all really good size wise, the rooms in Ballys are really good and its a hotel I wouldn’t have known about before the trip so its definitely one I will keep an eye out good rates when checking vegas for clients.

We flew home Business class KLM Dreamliner which was amazing!!!! I thought Delta on the way out was brilliant but nothing compared to KLM the chairs were amazing they lay all the way back I slept like a baby after the food haha. I had a window seat which was really nice you have an extra bit of privacy.

The food onboard was nice I had a soup to start and then the beef which was so tender really good quality not like usual airplane food! They gave us gin when we got off which was a nice.
