It is important to note that, due to the measures and guidelines which have been, and may in the future, be implemented by governments across the globe, it is possible that not all of the facilities and services will be available at your chosen destination. Entry requirements may also change at short notice and Cassidy Travel cannot accept responsibility.
As a business Cassidy Travel will do all we can to assist customers and to provide up to date information in, what is, an extremely fluid situation, and we urge everyone to log onto www.dfa.ie for up to date travel advice. Our terms and conditions relating to Covid-19 are clear and set out in Clause 7, Limitation of Liability which are available to view on www.cassidytravel.ie
As and from this Thursday the 6th of January 2022 new rules have been introduced by the Irish Government for passengers arriving into Ireland from abroad. The new rules which are a legal requirement have been put in place from today. The Department of Health has confirmed that fully vaccinated passengers arriving into Ireland since Midnight last night no longer require a negative PCR or antigen test.
Unvaccinated travellers will still be required to show a negative PCR test taken 72 hours before arrival.
Digital COVID Certificates will be updated soon to reflect additional vaccination status which means booster vaccination status will be added to the certificate as the EU is applying a maximum nine month validity to certificates based on a completed primary vaccination course. Passengers can also produce a DCC of Recovery if they have recovered in the last six months. The new EU Regulation will take effect from the 1st of February 2022.
Please note that we will continue to monitor the situation going forward to seek to provide you with our best attention, however, as above we highly recommend you familiarise yourselves with all travel requirements and restrictions prior to travel and avail of the information websites, including the DFA.
